How the bear got to know men

Once the bear asked the fox how a man looked like.
- Don't you know? - said the fox. Come along and I'll show you.
When they where walking for a while they met a little boy.
- Is that a man? - asked the bear.
- No, but he'll be a man - replied the fox.
When they had walked more they met an old man.
- Is he a man? - asked the bear.
- No, he has been one, - replied the fox.
So they met a hunter.
- There you have a man! - said the fox. Go up and greet him.
The fox disappeared quickly, but the bear was curious and came closer. The hunter, who was just about to load his gun, aimed and fired at the bear. But what could one bullet do to the strong animal? The bear turned unharmed and ran away. Later he met the fox who hid behind a tree.
- Man was a rude creature, - said the bear. He took snuff and chewing tobacco, and then he spat out the whole thing on me. Ugh, what a rude!
