Once the bear was eating rowan berries. Then the fox came to visit and the bear said:
- Would you like to eat some rowan berries, my brother?
- No, - replied the fox, - they are sour.
- You are wrong. They are not sour, - replied the bear.
- Let me try then, - said the fox.
The bear grabbed rowan crown and bowed to the ground and said:
- Now grab it hard with your teeth!
No sooner had the fox bitten, than let the bear the branch off. Rowan went up with pace and the fox was dangling there at the tree top.
- Dear friend, help me to get down! - shouted the fox.
- Let go and jump, - cried the bear, - so I should catch you!
Fox let go, but the bear did not cath him. So he fell on to the ground and fainted.
- This is for you for screwing me recently, so that I lost my tail, - the bear said to the fox when it came to life again.
