Me and my big ideas

I’ve been sending out mixed signals lately, scrambling people’s brains in the process. Need to get off the fence and choose a position. There is something about this situation that is not easy for me to digest. Have to ask myself honestly if I can live with it for the long haul. If not, it may be best opting out now and finding a better fit.

By God, how much I want to be married again. I want routine back, that feeling when you know someone that good you don't have to pretend to be what you are not. Assertiveness? Next time I would like to skip all that love bullshit and go straight to the so called boring parts of life. Trust and comfort are way underrated, IMNSHO.

The Giant Nebula, NGC 3603

Thousands of sparkling young stars nestled within the giant nebula NGC 3603. This stellar "jewel box" is one of the most massive young star clusters in the Milky Way Galaxy. NGC 3603 is a prominent star-forming region in the Carina spiral arm of the Milky Way, about 20,000 light-years away. This image shows a young star cluster surrounded by a vast region of dust and gas. The image reveals stages in the life cycle of stars. The nebula was first discovered by Sir John Herschel in 1834. The image spans roughly 17 light-years.

It's such a lie that you should do what's in your heart. If we all did what was in our hearts, the world would grind to a halt.
It's strange, when I'm around my mum, I start behave like teenager. Could it be because I was a so called unproblematic child when I actually was teenager? All my life so far there is only one thing I try and fail to do spectacularly - not to disappoint her too much. That's probably the most scary thing for a child, whatever age - to see the disappointment in your mothers eyes. Everything else is rubbish and just temporary mind state. I think I was better off as a teenager, when I thought she didn't actually loved me. Now she doesn't believe I am a good person, and that hurts.
I'm just one of them, next in line of generations of unhappy women in our family. I can't say I'm unlucky, because I am in a some sort of twisted and weird way. It's just that my so called luck hasn't brought me happiness, not yet.
I don't believe in fate, I believe we are what we are because of the actions we take and that's starting to go down on me. Because it's depressing to believe that everything that has happened so far is because of what you did, and you did it upon yourself.
So yes, I might be eternal teenager. Who cares about all that shit when they are grown?

Причем простите пожалуюсь - долго не могу уснуть как ни вертись, а потом с утра встать не могу! Как будто голову кто привязывает к подушке и глаза заклеивает. Радуют друзья и близкий человек. Какое-то сейчас мрачное безвременье.
Хорошо что есть руки которые меня держат, а я держу их.

Ancient White Dwarf Stars

Pushing the limits of its powerful vision, NASA's Hubble Space Telescope uncovered the oldest burned-out stars in our Milky Way Galaxy in this image from 2002. These extremely old, dim "clockwork stars" provide a completely independent reading on the age of the universe without relying on measurements of the expansion of the universe.

The ancient white dwarf stars, as seen by Hubble, turn out to be 12 to 13 billion years old. Because earlier Hubble observations show that the first stars formed less than 1 billion years after the universe's birth in the big bang, finding the oldest stars puts astronomers well within arm's reach of calculating the absolute age of the universe.

Though previous Hubble research sets the age of the universe at 13 to 14 billion years based on the rate of expansion of space, the universe's birthday is such a fundamental and profound value that astronomers have long sought other age-dating techniques to cross-check their conclusions.

The new age-dating observations were done using Hubble to hunt for elusive ancient stars hidden inside a globular star cluster located 5,600 light-years away in the constellation Scorpius.

Valhundai yra tvirti, bebaimiai, energingi, budrūs, protingi, draugiški ir sveiki stiprūs šunys. Jie turi nedaug žinomų genetiškai paveldimų sveikatos problemų ir džiugina ilga gyvenimo trukme, paprastai apie 14 metų. Dėl savo trumpų kojyčių gali turėti stuburo problemų. Tinka ir prie ūkio ir kaip naminiai augintiniai.
Valhundai yra draugiški ir ramūs, protingi ir meilūs. Mėgsta dėmesį (bet kas jo nemėgsta) ir veržiasi lyderiauti. Žavi savo įvairiapusiais gebėjimais ir spontanišku humoro jausmu. Tai labai aktyvūs ir atsidavę mažyliai. Puikūs sargai, galvijų varovai, you name it.
Jiems gerai ir bute, jei galės pakankamai išsidūkti lauke, taigi vedžioti reikia kiekvieną dieną ir ne šiaip pabinzinėt aplink namą, nes jie - šunys aktyvistai.
Vienžo - mano svajonių šuo, prašau gerbti ir mylėti.

Mars' Newton Crater

This image, which combines orbital imagery with 3-D modeling, shows flows that appear in spring and summer on a slope inside Mars' Newton Crater. Sequences of observations recording the seasonal changes at this site and a few others with similar flows might be evidence of salty liquid water active on Mars today. Evidence for that possible interpretation is presented in a report by McEwen et al. in the Aug. 5, 2011, edition of Science.

This image has been reprojected to show a view of a slope as it would be seen from a helicopter inside the crater, with a synthetic Mars-like sky. The source observation was made May 30, 2011, by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. Color has been enhanced. The season was summer at the location, 41.6 degrees south latitude, 202.3 degrees east longitude.

The flow features are narrow (one-half to five yards or meters wide), relatively dark markings on steep (25 to 40 degree) slopes at several southern hemisphere locations. Repeat imaging by HiRISE shows the features appear and incrementally grow during warm seasons and fade in cold seasons.

Norvegų elkhundas yra populiarus Norvegijoje, ypač kaip medžioklinis šuo. Jie iš špicų šeimos, būna dviejų rūšių - pilkieji ir juodieji. Pilkieji labiau populiarūs. Šitie šuneliai žinoma medžioja briedžius,(todėl jie dar ir briedinėmis laikomis vadinami lietuviškoje Wiki) kitus stambius žvėris, meškas taip pat tenka. Tarp mūsų jie maždaug nuo 1800-ųjų vidurio, Norvegijoje ir Švedijoje, bet apie 1950 juodasis hundas beveik išnyko. Norvegų alkhundas ir šiandien vis dar naudojamas briedžiams medžioti ir kitiems žaidimams. Šuo pasižymi tvirtu temperamentu, bet taip pat gali būti puikus šeimos draugas. Tikras žavuolis.


Norsk Buhund

Ši veislė tokia pat sena, kaip ir Norvegijos pirmieji gyventojai - vikingai. Priklauso špicų šeimynai, pagrindinis darbas - bandos ganymas, google translate primygtinai siūlo vadinti gyvulių globėju. Nevermind that. Buvo toks laikas, kai beveik kiekvienas Norvegijos ūkis turėjo po buhundą. Tie laikai jau praeity. Jų populiarumą smarkiai sumažino užsieninės veislės - bjaurybės imigrantai. Šunys yra energingi ir myli šeimininkus, tačiau sakoma, kad tylus ir meilus buhundas - laimingas šuo. :)

You’re romanticizing things a bit early in the day, but when the gauzy veil lifts late afternoon you realize that once again nobody or nothing is perfect. Rather than fly into a rage, one should embrace the humanity. Just as bespoke goods are worth more than factory-produced ones, the quirks in people are what make them special and unique.
